Milt Larsen Obituary, Death cause – It’s a sad day today. Yesterday evening, Milt Larsen, who had reached the age of 92, passed away without any discomfort. In 1963, Milt and his brother Bill opened the Magic Castle in the city of Hollywood, California, in the state of California. Milt is one of my oldest and dearest friends, and we’ve known each other since I was a little lad. My trip to the west coast in 1981 for the “It’s Magic” presentation was made possible by Milt and Bill, who whisked me away from the east coast. My friend Milt was the one who informed me that I would be making an appearance on “The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson.
Because of that performance, I was able to secure my first job in Las Vegas and launch my career there. I owe a lot of my success to that performance. On March 19 of this year, I was able to find Milt in Santa Barbara and spoke to him for a while. The performance of “It’s Magic” at the Lobero Theater was in its 65th year at the time the statement was made. There were several entertainers, and I was one of them.
My best friend Milt Larsen stands out to me as the person who has had the most significant impact, not just on the area of magic but also on my own life. He has been an incredible mentor to me. My sincere condolences go out to his wife Arlene, the rest of his family, and everyone at the Academy of Magical Arts on the loss of such a beloved teacher and mentor. Even if we had anticipated this day and made preparations for it, it would not make the challenge of coping with it any easier.
