Maddy Scott Obituary, A Vanderhoof BC Missing Woman Has Been Found Dead
Maddy Scott Obituary, Death Cause – The life of Maddy Scott has ended. The remains of Madison (Maddy) Scott was discovered on a rural property in Vanderhoof, according to the police, twelve years after it was reported that she had gone missing. Since then, both the police and her family have been trying to piece together what transpired, and authorities have had a sneaking suspicion that a crime was involved from the very beginning of their investigation.
The British Columbia RCMP stated on Monday that they are conducting a search at the property that is located on the east side of Vanderhoof. In a press release, Cpl. Madonna Saunderson said, “We can confirm that the property is associated to the discovery of Maddy, who has been positively identified by B.C. Coroners Service.” “We can confirm that the property is associated to the discovery of Maddy,”
According to Saunderson, Scott’s relatives have been informed of the discovery, and they have requested seclusion as a result.S aunderson stated that “this has been a priority investigation for the RCMP over the past 12 years,” adding that while the revelation is “a significant development,” the investigation is by no means complete. Despite Saunderson’s comments, the inquiry is still ongoing. She indicated that there is still a possibility that there was some kind of foul play involved, even though no charges have been filed.
“We believe that something criminal may have occurred between the hours of 4 and 8:30 a.m. on May 28, (2011), that led to her disappearance,” Sgt. Matt MacLeod said in an interview with the Prince George Citizen in the year 2020. “We do not believe that she simply walked away. “The body of Maddy Scott, who had not been seen or heard from since 2011, was discovered in Vanderhoof. On May 28, 2011, about three in the morning, Scott, who was 20 years old at the time, was last seen. The authorities assumed that a criminal conduct may have been the reason for her disappearance.
