Terry Bourassa Obituary, Death Cause – After getting into a confrontation with another person on Saturday night in Stoney Creek, a man locked himself inside a property armed with firearms and remained there until authorities arrived. After that, the individual got into a confrontation with the police in his community. As a direct consequence of the violence that took place, three people, including two tenants and one landlord, were shot and killed. One of the landlords was also a victim.
In spite of the fact that “considerable time” was spent trying to negotiate a “peaceful resolution,” Det. Sgt. Steve Bereziuk of the Major Crime Unit for the Hamilton Police Service (HPS) stated to the media that was present at the scene on Sunday morning that a 57-year-old man who is believed to be responsible for the murder of two people has been found dead.
