Robert Smurawa Obituary, Death Cause – Robert “Rob” F. Smurawa, age 52, of Pulaski, Wisconsin, passed away at St. Mary Hospital in Green Bay on Friday, May 26, 2023. In Green Bay, Wisconsin, on April 18th, 1971, Sylvester and Judith (Roskom) Smurawa welcomed a son into the world.
Rob was born and raised in the Pulaski region and received his high school diploma from the Pulaski High School. He had a passion for aviation and spent many years working in the aviation industry.
It was a fantastic day overall, from mowing the lawn to doing nothing but sitting outside and watching the sunset. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, and especially for his cat named “Basketball.” Over the course of more than 28 years, Rob was employed in Green Bay as a print operator. Surviving members of his family include his mother, Judith; his brother, Andy Smurawa; his sister, Tina Delwiche, and her daughter, Anita; and a large number of aunts, uncles, and other relatives as well as close friends. His father, Sylvester Smurawa, passed away before him and is buried next to him. On Friday, June 2, from 11 a.m. until 12 noon, friends and family are invited to congregate at the Marnocha Funeral Home, which is located at 186 E. Pulaski Street in Pulaski. The time of the Funeral Service is set for 12 in the midday hour. The committal service and burial will take place at the Assumption BVM Cemetery in Pulaski.
Additionally, he enjoyed going on rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycles. He had a strong affinity for all things mechanical. Rob enjoyed getting to know new people, and he was always willing to offer assistance to anyone who asked for it. He particularly enjoyed going for rides on the back roads of the neighborhood on his scooter and chitchatting with the other residents along the way. Rob cherished his time spent in nature.
