Mark Jackan Obituary Appleton WI, Death, Funeral And Visitation
Mark Jackan Obituary, Death Cause – On Tuesday, December 20th, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, there will be a Celebration of Life Gathering for Mark Raboin, who lived in Jackson and was 68 years old. The gathering will take place at the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Jackson. Mark Jay Raboin was born in Slayton, Minnesota on January 22, 1954. His parents, John “Jay” Mark and Irene Helen (Baranowski) Raboin, both passed away before their son was born.
He attended public schools in the Slayton area all throughout his education and graduated with the Class of 1972. After that, he pursued additional schooling at Jackson Vo-Tech, where he eventually earned his certification as a journeyman lineman. Jackson, Minnesota served as the setting for the wedding ceremony that took place on August 23, 1980 between Mark and Barbara Ann Nitchals. Mark devoted 32 years of his life to the company that he loved working for, Federated Rural Electric.
They started to be like a second family to him. Following the electrocution he suffered in 2006, he decided to retire. Despite being in retirement, Mark did not slow down. His passion for the outdoors led him to become an accomplished archer who hunted foxes, coyotes, and waterfowl in addition to other game. Mark crammed his den with trophies to demonstrate his dedication to his hobby. When Mark wasn’t out on the trail, you could find him working on his collection of Mopar automobiles.
Refinishing furniture was a fun and rewarding project for Mark and Barb to do together. Mark considered his best achievement in life were his children and grandchildren. Every second that he was able to spend with them was something that he held dearly in his heart. Mark had a large circle of friends and enjoyed spending time with them whether it was going hunting, chatting about automobiles, or having a weekly happy hour at his place with the boys. The compassionate spirit that Mark possessed and his eagerness to assist everyone who sought his assistance will be sorely missed.
