Lissa Negrin Obituary, Death Cause – To one of the dearest and most beautiful of my close friends, Lissa Negrin When I found out late last night that Lissa had passed away after a valiant fight against the ALS sickness, it shattered my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with her and all of her loved ones at this time. Oh my gosh, I have no idea what to make of this truly amazing human. I’m at a loss for words. We had several memorable experiences together during the time when we were both performing on the same tribute concerts.
The Tina Turner tribute performance that I did with Lissa in 2012 was one of the very last ones I ever did. We were supposed to have a get-together in Temecula, California, which is around a two-hour drive away in the event that there is no traffic. Both Lissa and I arrived at the location around 45 minutes after the time that we were meant to. Because Lissa and I were 45 minutes late to the event, the client asked us if we could stay and work longer after the other tribute artists had been granted permission to go in order to make up for the delay caused by our tardiness.
Lissa and I said that we would be happy to comply with this request. It should come as no surprise that both Lyssa and I responded in the positive without hedging our answers in any way. We stayed open for over an hour and a half beyond our regular closing time in order to keep the customers engaged, and we had a wonderful time doing it. Despite the fact that I have quite a few pleasant memories associated with Lissa, this specific one is the one that is standing out in my mind at the moment.
I am going to miss her fantastic, gorgeous, dazzling light as well as the tremendous ability that she exuded to such a large extent.
