Lesley Lee Obituary, Death Cause – We are left in a state of deep sadness and grief at the necessity of informing you of the passing of Lesley Lee, who was both a close friend and a coworker of ours. We have drawn inspiration from Lesley’s dedication and excitement for democratizing access to the arts and making it possible for more people, as opposed to fewer, to participate in the festival ever since its inception in 2013, when she was the principal organizer.

Despite the fact that we have no idea how we’ll get through life without her, we will continue on with Lesley serving as our inspiration. We would want to express our appreciation to everyone of you for the support you have given us during this challenging time, and we look forward to seeing each of you again in June. Along with the rest of the team, Tom, Richard, and Sarah are in the lead. The prayer states, “May choirs of angels lead thee to thy rest,” and it is said at the end of the service.

Lesley’s amazing aptitude in arts production and graphic design, in addition to her meticulous attention to detail, has had an impact on every facet of our work in some manner. She has been a major contributor to our success. We are going to miss her incredible talent, but even more than that, we are going to miss her understated wisdom, persistent work ethic, and priceless friendship. We are going to miss her tremendously. Even though our hearts are shattered and we have no idea how we’ll get through life without her, the one thing we do know for certain is that we will continue on with Lesley serving as our inspiration.
