Elwood Steinke Obituary, Death Cause –Elwood Steinke passed away on May 28, 2023 in Falls City, Nebraska, the city in which he resided. At the time of his passing, Elwood Steinke had reached the age of 81 years old. On December 5th, 1941, in Hugo, Colorado, Herbert and Lydia (Wagner) Steinke were the first persons to glimpse their son as he made his debut into the world. Elwood moved his family from California to Falls City in 1954, and the following year he enrolled at Dawson-Verdon High School. Elwood graduated from Dawson-Verdon in 1956. In 1959, he graduated with a diploma from the educational establishment.
During his time in Company B of the Nebraska National Guard, he did his duty in the Falls City region. He was a member of the Nebraska National Guard. He labored with his father all throughout his boyhood on the family farm, where he also assisted in the care of the cattle that the family had. In 2018, he came to the conclusion that working in the farming business was no longer something he wanted to do due to the condition of his health. He attended the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, which can be found approximately 6 kilometers to the north of this location.
Elwood is survived by his sister, Carol Meyer, who currently resides in North Ridge, California; his nephew, Daniel Meyer, who also currently resides in North Ridge; and Elwood’s beloved friends, Bill and Amy Nussbaum, who currently resides in Falls City, Oregon. His maternal grandparents, his sister-in-law, and his nephew all passed away before him, as did his brother-in-law Robert Meyer and his nephew Steven Meyer. His paternal grandfather and paternal grandmother both passed away. He continued his actions in the same manner as they did. On June 10, 202, a memorial service will be held at the cemetery, and the cemetery will serve as the venue for the event.
