Diane Johnson Obituary Minneapolis-St. Paul MN, Diane Johnson Has Died
Diane Johnson Obituary, Death Cause – Diane Edge Johnson, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, died away on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the age of 75 years old. Her funeral was held the following day. She arrived into this world on June 18th, 1943. Her parents were David Shafford Edge and Vera Turner Edge, and she was born in the fall of 1947 in the city of Spartanburg in the state of South Carolina.
Diane was a devoted wife to her much-loved husband, Harold Cecil Johnson, during their whole 56-year marriage. Together, they had three children. They performed an amazing job co-parenting their two children, Barry and Bradley, and it paid off big time. Diane was a warm-hearted and considerate mother who always put her family’s needs first in all she did. She had tremendous pleasure in being able to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she followed the events in their life and the accomplishments they attained with a great deal of interest.
Habilitation Services was where Diane got her start in the workforce, and she later moved on to Allstate Insurance. Both of these positions, in addition to her unofficial role as a preacher’s wife for more than half a century, were significant contributors to the development of a significant number of relationships. Following her retirement, one of her favorite things to do was to travel with her grandson Will during the summer months so that she could see him play baseball in various cities around the country.
Diane also found a great deal of fulfillment in the many years that she sang in the choir at the Fairview Baptist Church, which she attended as a congregant. She also found a special kind of joy in preparing delectable desserts to contribute to the yearly bake sale held at the church, the proceeds of which were given to a charitable organization.
