Sparta Newton New Jersey Car Accident, 4 Dead In Andover Wrong Way Crash

Sparta Newton New Jersey Car Accident – According to the police, a fiery collision that occurred on Newton-Sparta Road in the afternoon on Friday resulted in the deaths of four persons, including two children. Andover Chief Eric Danielson stated that a 22-year-old man from Blairstown named Bruce Cseh drove a Jeep Rubicon into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a Ford Ranger pickup truck. Cseh ran over the double yellow lines that were painted on the road.

Andrew Benavente, age 36, his son Andrew Benavente, age 13, and their daughter Madelyn Benavente, age 5, were all from Newton and were trapped inside the burning pickup truck when it caught fire. Cseh, the driver of the Jeep, was trapped inside when the fire broke out, but members of the fire departments in Andover and Sparta were able to rescue him and put out the blaze. According to Danielson, he was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center but did not survive the crash-related injuries he sustained internally.

The collision took place on Friday at four o’clock in the afternoon close to the boundary of Sparta Township. In order for the police to conduct their investigation, Newton-Sparta Road was shut down for over five hours near Limecrest Road. According to Danielson, the probe is still active.   According to Danielson, the first responders utilized fire extinguishers to put out the flames and performed life saving attempts; nonetheless, all three residents of the home were pronounced dead at the spot. To separate the Jeep and the other vehicle, the police officers employed a personal vehicle equipped with a chain. In the Andover accident that claimed 4 lives, the victims were a girl of 5 years old and a male of 13 years old.
