Sherri Girouard Obituary, Death Cause – During my time at KOK, Sherri Girouard was not just a fellow camper but also a former coworker of mine. I just got a call informing me that she went suddenly this morning in an unexpected manner. She worked with AngloPhone East in that capacity. Sher, I pray that you are at rest with the angels now. My most sincere condolences go out to the Knapper family, and in especially to her daughter and son, who were the primary reasons for her happiness throughout her life.
Richard Anita Bouchard Girouard was born in the year 1930 in the town of Fitchburg to parents Levi and Alda Bouchard Girouard. Our deepest regrets and heartfelt sympathy go out to the lost life partner. She graduated from Fitchburg High School in the year 1948 after having attended that institution. In the years between the 1970s and the early 1980s, Anita and her sister Estelle were co-owners of a thriving business that they conducted under the name Logan Supply.
After that, she started working for the company that her husband owned as his assistant in the accounting department. She worked at this position for a considerable amount of time. The only thing other than Anita’s function as a mother that might possibly surpass it was her role as a grandmother. She was one of the most generous people you’d ever meet, and she valued the time she got to spend with her family.
She had a heart of goodness. Her fondest memories are of having cookouts by her pool and vacationing at Wells Beach in Maine. She also enjoys thinking back to when she was a teenager. Anita is survived by her children and their families: Lynne and her husband Andy Pelham from Wells, Maine; Sherri Leahey from Leominster; Katie Perla, her companion Don Hill and her former husband Stephen Perla also from Leominster; and her daughter-in-law Huguette Leahey from Fitchburg.
