Richard Coward Obituary, Death Cause – A man who was shot in the head in the McCandless area sadly died away as a consequence of the injuries he sustained as a result of the shooting. On Saturday morning at around seven o’clock, the Allegheny County Police Department received a call indicating that emergency services were necessary in the 700 block of Nineteen North Drive. The caller provided the location as Nineteen North Drive.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a wounded man, 39 years old, who was suffering from the effects of his gunshot wound. Earlier in the encounter, the guy had been shot in the leg. It was discovered that he had passed away in the location where the search crew found him; he had been there for some time. A man who gave the cops who responded to the site his name and said that he was 41 years old handed himself in to the authorities at the scene while he was on the phone with 911 dispatchers.
The authorities have not been successful up to this time in discovering who perpetrated the crime. In a statement that was released by the county medical examiner, the identity of the dead individual was revealed to be that of Richard Coward, a resident of McCandless. The identity of the individual who had passed away was revealed in the statement. At this time, there is an investigation being carried out; however, as of the evening of Saturday, no one has been charged with anything at this time. Despite this, the inquiry is continuing.
