Philip Flip Obituary, Death Cause – hilip ‘Flip’ Bland Miller, who is now 70 years old and lives in Stringtown, Oklahoma, was born in Phoenix, Arizona on April 21, 1953. His parents, Frank Miller and Noweta (Jackson) Miller, were his parents. On Friday, May 26, 2023, Philip passed away at his home in Stringtown, Oklahoma. After graduating from Atoka High School in 1971, he continued his education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

Philip is survived by his wife, Marcia Elaine Miller of the home in Stringtown, Oklahoma; children, Stephanie Miller of Atoka, Oklahoma, Dakota Miller-Wheeler and husband Ryan of Atoka, Oklahoma, Kelsi Frost and husband Stetson of Atoka, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Harrison Cody Frost, Hudson Blake Frost, and Katelyn Harper Frost; siblings, Mike Miller and wife Cleta of Atoka, Oklahoma, and Colette Harper and husband Dr. Ben of Stringtown, Oklahoma. His parents, Frank Cody and Noweta (Jackson) Miller, and his brother, Johnny Miller, passed away before him. He was the last surviving member of his family.

Restaurant owner Philip was our man. Philip served with honor in the 1180th Infantry, 45th Division of the National Guard during his time in the military.On the Saturday the 14th of November in 1981, he wed Marcia Elaine (Powell) in the chapel of the Atoka First Baptist Church. Philip had testified to the firm conviction that he had in Jesus. In addition to being a steer roper, pilot, builder, artist, and musician, he had a deep appreciation for wine. He had a passion for both scuba diving and adventure travel.
