Paula Shaffer Obituary, Death Cause – In addition to extending our most sincere sympathies to Paula Shaffer’s family and friends, we would like to take this opportunity to show our gratitude to them for allowing us to inform others of her passing today. For many years, our organization relied on Paula to serve in the role of Area Director of Sales. Not only did Paula work at our hotel, which she considered to be her home base, but she also worked at the Hampton Inn in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and the Hotel Indigo in Pittsburgh University-Oakland. She made an indelible mark on each and every person that she interacted with.

More than a year and a half have passed since Paula was diagnosed with cancer, and many of you are aware that she has been fighting this disease ever since. Throughout the whole struggle, she shown her genuine strength and will, and she fought till the very end. She was loved by a huge number of people both within and outside of our organization, and we would like to extend our sympathies to everybody who had the opportunity to know her. We ask that you allow us some time to mourn her departure and that you respect the need for privacy that her family has as they deal with the loss of their loved one.
