Michelle Permentier Obituary, Death Cause – On May 24, 2023, Michelle Lynn Permentier, age 47, of Minot, North Dakota, died away quietly as she was surrounded by her devoted family in the hospital in her hometown of Minot. The Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, Texas is where Gary W. and Mary F. (Hummel) Angell welcomed their daughter Michelle into the world on July 21, 1975. In 1995, she received her diploma from Minot High School, and in 1998, she received her certification as a medical transcriptionist at Quentin Burdick Job Corps. On December 20, 2003, Michelle and Yves Permentier exchanged vows and became husband and wife. They established their residence in Minot, North Dakota.
After working in the childcare industry for a number of years as the proprietor of her own daycare, Michelle went on to spend the next ten of those years serving as an English Language Learner (ELL) Paraprofessional for the Minot Public Schools. Michelle has worked a number of occupations throughout the course of her life. She also found great fulfillment in her most recent role as a Communications and Administrative Lead Coordinator for the Economic Assistance HAF Program for the State of North Dakota. In this role, she was able to assist others and give back to the community, two of her greatest interests and hobbies. This role brought her a lot of satisfaction. Michelle loved spending time with her family, going on road trips, attending concerts, doing crafts, and reading (particularly to her grandkids). She also liked watching movies and attending football games featuring the Dallas Cowboys. She had a lot of fun going all out with the Halloween decorations and giving out a lot of candy and other treats to everyone who came knocking on her door.
She was unable to say no to sour cream and onion chips, pepperoni and pineapple pizza, or iced tea or cherry lime aid to wash it all down. The local delivery services all knew Michelle by name as a result of the almost daily deliveries she received during the year. Michelle had a hiding spot around the home for each size package that Amazon offers. She was honest, considerate, and kind, always putting the needs of others before her own. She had a heart of gold. Even total strangers benefitted from her generosity and kind nature because to the regular little actions she made, such as paying it forward at ice cream and fast food drive-throughs.
She had a stunning appearance. a much-loved daughter, dedicated wife, doting mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. All of those who had the fortunate opportunity to be a part of her life will miss her greatly. Michelle is survived by her children Samantha Benjamin (Derek Hoag), Eric Angell, Krista Permentier, and Ethan Permentier; grandchildren Oliver and Michael; parents Gary and Mary Angell, grandfather James Hummel; siblings Gary Angell (Tammy), Lisa Vilandre (Robert), and Jennifer Benson (Darnell); as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Michelle was married to Yves Permentier for nineteen years.
