All of the passengers in the car were hurt in some way as a result of the accident. The persons who were harmed claim that they were transported to a medical facility. Rachel M. Dondero was the subject of a lawsuit that was filed on February 6 in the Madison County Circuit Court by Michael S. Marlo, Ryan K. Marlo, Linda A. Marlo, Danny Loucks, and Adrianne D. Loucks.
The lawsuit was intended to hold Rachel M. Dondero accountable for a variety of alleged wrongdoings. On March 12, 2010, according to the complaint that was filed by the Marlos and the Loucks, the four of them were riding as passengers in a 2002 Chevrolet Impala that Michael S. Marlo was driving and that was headed north on Illinois Route 4. Dondero was traveling west on Rose Road in her 2001 Saturn when she was in the Impala and nearing an intersection.
She failed to yield the right-of-way to the Impala as she approached the intersection. The Impala was driving toward the intersection with Rose Road as it was getting closer to it. According to the allegations made in the lawsuit, the defendant, Rachel M. Dondero, “stopped at the stop sign controlling her westbound traffic along Rose Road at the intersection of Rose Road and Illinois Route 4, but then inexplicably proceeded into the intersection and into the path of the northbound vehicle being driven by the Plaintiff.
The Defendant was operating the vehicle at the time. According to the complaint, as a direct result of the occurrence, both the Marlos and the Loucks experienced financial costs for medical treatment, underwent bodily agony and suffering, and were unable to live their normal lives as a result of their injuries.
