John Michael Hall Obituary, Death Cause – On May 22, 2023, at the age of 26, John Michael Hall went tragically suddenly from an unforeseen illness. He was a graduate of Starrs Mill High School and won awards at the state level in both swimming and water polo during his time there. He continued his education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned his degree in Economics and was inducted into the Sigma Nu honor society. After receiving his degree, he went on to earn various pilot licences.
One of which was for flight teaching, and then went on to begin providing flight training in the areas surrounding Hartford, Connecticut and the greater Atlanta metropolitan area. He found great joy in interacting with his pupils and was driven by a desire to impart his expertise, understanding, and admiration. Recent history shows that he had been residing in Clyde, North Carolina, close to his mother’s relatives, and working at Bearwaters, which is located in Canton, North Carolina.
In spite of the fact that his maternal and paternal grandfathers, Dr. Frank “Bud” Morrison (maternal) and Harry Hall (paternal), passed away before him, John Michael is survived by a large number of relatives, all of whom mourn him very much. These relatives include: His paternal grandmother, Julie Hall, and his maternal grandmother, Joan Morrison; his father, Vance Hall, and his wife, Jill Finney Hall; his mother, Lee Hall, and her partner, Kevin Capati; his siblings Alex Hall (partner Nick Lopez).
Jordan Hall (husband Zach Contreras) with Addie and Jacob, his niece and nephew, Meghan Usry (husband Luke Usry), and niece Emmaline; and Kellan Finney McGill (husband Jared McGill). Extended family members include, but are not limited to, aunts, uncles, and cousins; Suzanne and Miles Supola, Carson and Mackinney’s aunt and uncle; Erin and Dick Settles, Carly and Wyatt’s aunt and uncle; Greg and Donna Hall, Jessie and David’s aunt and uncle; and many, many more family members and friends.
