John Kochmer Obituary, John Kochmer Has Sadly Passed Away

John Kochmer Obituary, Death Cause – On May 26, 2023, John Francis Kochmer, 44 years old, a resident of Clarks Summit, passed away while at home. After spending many happy years at their Factoryville home, he was the son of Victor and Sheila Kochmer, who have now moved to South Abington Township. Victor and Sheila Kochmer raised him. John lived his life to the absolute greatest extent possible before to his final defeat at the hands of his struggles with mental health and drinking. John was an outdoorsman who liked activities such as hunting, fishing, skiing, and riding motorbikes. However, his favorite place to go was in Bethany Beach, Delaware, with his family and friends, where they could enjoy the sand, ocean, and breeze.

John’s lifelong interest in the culinary arts was reflected in his professional and personal pursuits in the kitchen. One of John’s all-time favorite mental pictures was of his loved ones chowing down on the meal he had cooked in the company of one another. It was extremely fun for him to develop new recipes with his cherished daughter, Ava. The year 1997 marked John’s graduation from Scranton Prep, while the year 2000 marked his graduation from the Culinary Institute of America. John had a career in the kitchen that spanned many years. In later years, he made a successful transfer into the field of human resources recruitment. In March 2020, despite John’s best attempts, he was unable to adapt to the societal changes that were brought about as a result of the epidemic.

In addition, John is survived by the people he is most proud of, including his daughter Ava Kochmer and step-son Mason Miller of Clarks Summit, New Jersey; his ex-wife Jennifer Kochmer; his brother Gabriel Kochmer and his wife Marcia Bockol of East Quogue, New York; his sister Jenna London of Rotterdam, New York; and several nieces and nephews. On Wednesday evening at six o’clock, there will be a blessing ceremony performed at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation ceremony, which is located at 418 South State Street in Clarks Summit. On Wednesday, beginning at 4 pm until the time of the ceremony, friends and family are welcome to pay their condolences at the funeral home.
