Barbara Conrad Obituary, Death Cause – The passing of Barbara A. Conrad on May 26, 2023, at the age of 86 and originating from Jasper, Indiana, was announced. On September 28th, 1936, she was brought into this world in the town of Freelandville, Indiana. Her parents were Nelson and Kathryn “Diekman” Begeman. Barbara was employed by Dollar General, where she served as a district manager in that capacity. Throughout her entire life, she maintained her regular attendance at the Morris Chapel United Methodist Church.
In addition to her loving husband Charles Conrad, Barbara’s parents and a brother named Bruce Begeman all passed away before she did. There will be a service held at the gravesite on the Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 11:00 AM, and it will take place in the Freelandville Memorial Cemetery. Pastor Justin Dyehouse is going to serve as the officiant for the event. The graveside will be open for visitation beginning at 10:00 AM and continuing until 11:00 AM. The Morris Chapel United Methodist Church is a good place to send memorial gifts and contributions in lieu of other options. It is an honor for the Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home to have been given the responsibility of taking care of Barbara during her final days.
Spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren, was one of the things that brought Barbara the most joy. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, and one of the things that brought her the most joy was being able to spend time with her family. Those left to mourn the loss of Barbara are; sister, Donna (Jerry) Hays, sons; Terry (Kathy) Donnar, Rick (Shelly) Donnar, Gary (Kim) Donnar; grandchildren; Katie (Nick) Love, Tammy (Travis) Reintjes, Stacey (Neil) Barker, Crystal (Shawn) Bargers, Matt Donnar, Bill Donnar, Frankie (Erin) Conrad; twelve great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
