On May 19, 2023, Specialist (SPC) Zachary Zamot, who was from Rockland County and who was serving with the 160th Aviation Special Forces Group at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, passed away. Zamot was a member of the active-duty United States Army and was from the Rockland County area.
There, he served as a station officer. During his time in the military, he was a part of the 160th Aviation Special Forces Group as a member. The individual who went on to graduate from Ramapo High School was referred to as a “Night Stalker,” which suggests that he was a member of the 160th Aviation Special Forces Group and that he carried out his responsibilities as a 15 P (Flight operations specialist).
