Susanne LeGasse Obituary, Susanne LeGasse Has Passed Away
Susanne LeGasse Obituary, Death Cause – Susie, who was 76 years old when she passed away on May 5th, 2023, did so in a calm and serene manner. She was born on June 25th, 1946, to the late Howard and Lorraine “Mutzie” Rogner. Her father passed away before she was born. The wedding between Susie and Ronald Zwerk took place on August 27th, 1966. On January 17, 2023, after a marriage of 56 years, he passed away before she did.
Susie never left her hometown of Gera, where she had been raised; she had lived there her entire life. She spent a lot of her free time caring for a vast garden and making a wide variety of Christmas cookies so that she could give them to her friends and family. In addition, Susie presided over events at the illustrious GCC, such as birthday parties, class reunions, marriages, and various other types of gatherings. There was a period of time spent working in the banking industry, as well as time spent working as a truck driver and as a waitress, and there was also time spent serving as the township treasurer.
In her spare time, she liked to keep her mind active by playing word games, card games, and dice games, and she would always try to earn a penny or two from her family and friends while she was playing these games. The love she had for Jesus Christ and her confidence in him were Susie’s greatest passions during her entire life as a member of St. Lorenz. She decided to become a Stephen Minister, join several evangelism-based organizations through her church, sponsor various missions, and offer hugs and words of encouragement to everyone who crossed her path as a result of her decision to share what she had learned with others.
Surviving are: children, Rebecca (Ricky) Pavlik of Bay City and Matthew (EeShel) Zwerk of Munger; five grandchildren: Erin Murdoch, Ethan, Christian, Ezmae, and Landon Zwerk; one great-grandson Henry Schwartz; brothers Jim (Cindy) Rogner, Bill (Sue) Rogner, Fred (Diane) Rogner; close brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Sharen Roeser, Joy (Dave) Koch, Charles (Deborah) Zwerk, and many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.
