Sarah Koury Obituary, Death, Funeral And Visitation
Sarah Koury Obituary, Death Cause – Sarah Cynthia Koury, who was 19 years old and from Trumbull, Connecticut, passed away on May 20, 2018, as a result of a ruptured aneurysm in her splenic artery. She is now in the presence of the Lord. She was one of three children that were born at the exact same moment on January 22, 1999, in the city of New Haven, Connecticut.
Sarah is survived by her parents, Mace and Marcy Koury, of Trumbull; her sister Erika; and triplet brothers Kyle and Dylan, also of Trumbull; her maternal grandparents, Jim and Cindy Booth, of Hornell, New York; as well as a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of treasured friends, all of whom loved her very much. Sarah will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. All of these other folks are going to miss Sarah very, very much.
Both of her maternal grandparents, Richard and Lucille Koury, were from Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, although they had gone away before she was born. Her maternal grandparents were her maternal paternal grandparents. Sarah’s infectious sense of humor and infectious grin never failed to bring a smile to the faces of her loved ones and never failed to make them laugh at some time or another.
Following Sarah’s graduation from Trumbull High School with Honors and Distinction, she received invitations to join both the Spanish Honor Society and the National Honor Society. Sarah accepted both invitations. In addition to that, she was presented with the award for Honors with Distinction. A student at the University of Delaware, Sarah was selected to participate in the prestigious World Scholars Program. She took advantage of an exchange program that gave her the opportunity to attend classes in International Business in Madrid, Spain, during the fall of her first year at that institution.
