Phil Watson Obituary, Death Cause – At 5:29 o’clock on Monday, March 13, 2023, Mr. Philip Derrell Watson, fondly known as Phil, died away at the Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tennessee. Phil was born in Nashville, Tennessee on July 30, 1960. His parents were Johnnie Mai Hancock Watson and Vern Wright Watson, who passed away before their son’s birth. Since the late 1980s, he has worked as an information technology technician, and he is now employed by Dell computer at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

He fished all the time and loved it. Over the course of many years, he and his pal Bart spent every Saturday morning fishing, and they would occasionally bring home a large catch or at the very least a really interesting fishing story. Phil’s passions included his faith in God, his family, his work, and his desire to serve others. During the years that he and his wife Linda were married, they were responsible for the upbringing of various cats, including their current fur baby, Munchie. His father and his father-in-law, Jasper Ronald Savage, both passed away before him. He is the only surviving member of his immediate family.

Phil is survived by his wife of 38 years, who he cherished deeply. Linda Savage Watson Mother: Johnnie Mai Watson Gail (Jimmy) McKnight was our aunt. Uncle Danny Hancock, also known as Norma Hancock The Jacksons, who are members of Kristen (Russell) Jackson’s family Landon, Abigale and Miles Mary Savage is the mother-in-law.
