Peggy Marlowe Obituary, Trigg County, Kentucky, Resident Has Died

Peggy Marlowe Obituary, Death Cause – Peggy Dixon Marlowe, 69 years old, died away on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Princeton Nursing and Rehabilitation in Princeton, Kentucky. She was a resident of Trigg County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Cecil E. Dixon and Henrietta Dixon P’Pool (née Rogers), and she was born on September 25, 1953 in Cadiz, Kentucky. Her mother’s maiden name was Rogers. Peggy received her diploma from Trigg County High School in the year 1971. After gaining experience in the field as a beautician in Cadiz for a number of years, she relocated to Trigg County Hospital and took a position in the administration office there. Subsequently, she moved on to work in the office of the Trigg County Board of Education. She had been attending the Caldwell Blue Spring Baptist Church for a considerable amount of time.

Peggy was known as “Nana” to her grandchildren, and they referred to her as “Nana.” Peggy liked doing crafts and gardening, particularly growing flowers, and going swimming with her grandchildren. Cecil Wayne Dixon, her brother, too passed away before she did, following in the footsteps of both of her parents. Peggy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ray Marlowe of Trigg County; son, Nick (Tori) Marlowe of Trigg County; daughter, Rheanne (Troy) Brummett of Princeton; sister, Patsy (Wesley) Wallace of Cadiz; and six grandchildren, Mia Marlowe, Lyla Marlowe, Izzy Marlowe, Annie Brummett, Reese Brummett, and Pacen Brummett.

The arrangements are being taken care of by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., which is located at 138 Main Street in Cadiz. On Monday, May 29, 2023, the family will welcome guests beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. On Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., funeral services will be held at the Goodwin Funeral Home, and the Reverend Dean Ray will preside over the ceremony. After the service, burial will take place in the Caldwell Blue Spring Cemetery.
