Niko Rodriguez Obituary, Former Rockdale Has Died

Niko Rodriguez Obituary, Death Cause – Niko James Rodriguez, a young boy who lived in Rockdale and passed away at the Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet on May 21, 2023, at the tender age of eight years old, was able to leave this world in a calm and collected manner. He was born on July 4, 2014, in Oak Lawn, Illinois, and his parents are Abel Rodriguez and Brianna McEvilly. He is their first child. Abel Rodriguez and Brianna McEvilly are his father and mother, respectively.

Niko attended Lynne Thigpen Elementary School, which is located in Joliet, Illinois, throughout his elementary school years. Niko enjoyed a prosperous life because he exploited every opportunity presented to him. Because of his upbeat demeanor and the hard work he put in, he was named the student of the month at his elementary school, and his instructors couldn’t stop raving about how well he did in class. He never failed to approach any challenge, regardless of how significant it was, with a broad smile and the willingness to provide everything he had, regardless of how much energy he had available at the time.

From the moment Niko’s parents prayed over him when he was just two weeks old in the hopes of a miracle, to the moment that he drew his final breath and entered eternal life, God worked through Niko. Niko’s parents prayed over him when he was just two weeks old. When he was listening to music, playing outside and on the swings, sharing hugs and squeezes, playing on his device, or enjoying the outdoors while watching the bubbles dance on the breeze, Niko could see the brightness in his face. Niko has overcome the odds throughout his whole existence, beginning from the moment of his birth, when it was predicted that he would only have days to live.
