Matthew Lanier Obituary, Death Cause – It is imperative that you find time to shoot photographs. One day, those will be the only things you have left, along with your memories. I found a couple more of some fun days growing up with Matthew Lanier. Feel free to share this or tag yourself in it. When we were younger, there was no such thing as social media or smartphones, therefore it is possible that we did not take as many images as we do now. I have so many memories that I can clearly picture in my head, but I simply can’t seem to find them on paper.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I’ll come across any from when we were younger. Matt was the kind of buddy who would give someone the shirt off his back if they needed it. He was the kind of person who always knew just the right thing to say to make you crack up. When I reflect on my youth, from the time I was in daycare until now, he is consistently one of the buddies that comes to mind first.
He was one of the few persons in life who could be considered a true friend, and there aren’t that many of them. It makes no difference that you did not talk or see each other every day. When you finally did, it was as if no time had been lost at all. That right there is a genuine friendship. I’m going to publish a few more pictures that I’ve found in the hopes that they would make some people laugh despite the current challenging situation.
In the pictures from the Halloween party, he’s the one wearing the white mask, and I’m uploading a few of them because they’re just too good not to share again! (Therefore, his red shirt, hehe, it was his sense of humor). And there’s no denying the significance of the yearbook photo. The year 2000 was used. When I asked him about it, he showed me the picture and remarked, “Look at this sexy beast.” I’ll never forget that moment. That was his sense of humor, lol.
