Loreace Franks Obituary, Death Cause – in the age of 79, Loreace “Lois” Franks, who resided in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away in her home on Friday, May 26, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, had worked at Angelica Mfg. until her retirement, and was an active member of the Eastview Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee. She enjoyed activities such as fishing, sewing, gardening, and hanging out with her family and friends in her spare time.
She spent a lot of time outside, and one of her favorite activities was to sit and watch the deer and birds from the window. She cherished the time she got to spend with her adoring family—her beloved dog Rusty, her doting husband Archie, her children, and her grandchildren. Her mother, Lorene Holden Gower; her step-father, Farsie Staggs; her father, Jess Gower; three brothers; two sisters; and one half-brother all passed away before she did. She is survived by her father, Jess Gower.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Morris “Archie” Franks of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Jeannette Davis (Eddy) of Killen, AL; one son, Keith Ray (Sherie) of Killen, AL; one step-daughter, Sandra G. McMahon (Roy) of Murfreesboro, TN; one step-son, Morris Alan Franks (Sue) of Spring Hill, TN; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother; and two half-brothers.
Neal Funeral Home, located at 231 N. Military Avenue in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, is in charge of making the necessary arrangements. On Monday, May 29, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, friends and family are invited to visit with the family at Neal Funeral Home. On Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at one o’clock in the afternoon, funeral services will be held at the Neal Funeral Home.
