Larry Lee Obituary, Death Cause – At the residence of his daughter in Richmond, Kentucky, on May 26, 2023, Larry Dean Lee, who was 71 years old at the time of his death, passed away. Mr. Lee was a local of Turkey Creek, which is located in Kentucky. On December 29th, 1931, Larry was born to Joseph Lee and Opal Marie Whitt, who are no longer with us but who have already passed away. Larry Lee was predeceased by both his wife of 34 years, Linda Carol Blackburn Lee, and his daughter, Kimberly Ann Lee.
In addition to Larry’s parents, both of his wives and one of his daughters predeceased him. Everyone who was lucky enough to have met him will look back on him with fond memories of a man who was a loyal husband and father and who will be greatly missed. Larry worked as a coal miner in Ragland, West Virginia, where he resided. He was also a member of the Rockhouse Freewill Baptist Church during this time. People will remember him for his fun-loving demeanor and his passion for antiquing.
This is something that he has always had. Larry Hensley is survived by his daughter Kerri Lee Hensley, son-in-law Charles Hensley, and granddaughter Bentlee Brooke Hensley, all of whom live in Richmond, Kentucky. Additionally, Larry is survived by his brother James Ed Hensley. He also had a huge number of friends who were very valuable to him and also collected antiques, as well as family members who walked with him.
On the evening of Sunday, May 28, 2023, from 6 to 9 o’clock in the evening, there will be a reception held in the chapel of the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home. After this, the funeral services will be place on Monday, May 29, 2023, beginning at 11 AM, in the chapel of the funeral home, with G. W. Mounts serving as the officiant.
