King Beli Obituary, Death Cause – Belia (Betty) King, who was 97 years old when she passed away on April 25, 2016, in New Braunfels, Texas, went home to be with our Lord. She was born in Saspamco, Texas on December 26th, 1918 to parents Eulogio and Juanita Salinas. Her birthday is December 26th. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, her two sisters, her son-in-law, and her daughter-in-law. Her husband of 44 years, Evin King, also passed away before her.

She is survived by her son, Evin, Jr., and his wife, Patricia; her daughter, JoAnn Sager; her son, Jerry King; seven granddaughters; several great-grandchildren; one sister; one brother; a large number of adoring nieces, nephews, and friends; and her husband, Evin. Sr. She had a deep love for the Lord, and she made it a point to read her daily devotions for as long as she was able. The statement “God Bless You” was one that she frequently spoke to those who were in her company.

Betty’s family was and always will be the most important thing in her life. She cherished everyone of her offspring, from children to grandchildren to great-grandchildren. She would get down on the floor with them to play games and love seeing them put on presentations of singing and dancing. In addition to that, she was a huge fan of “her Spurs” and the Dallas Cowboys. Her gentle demeanor and stunning grin will be the aspects about her that people remember most fondly.

On April 28, 2016, visitation with the family will begin at 9:30 AM, and services will begin at 10:30 AM immediately afterward at Schertz Funeral Home, which is located at 2217 FM 3009 in Schertz, Texas.
