John Gandy Obituary, Death Cause – At the time of his death, John Wesley Gandy, Sr. was 81 years old. He passed away on May 26, 2023 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama. His funeral was held the following day. He considered the town of Clanton in Alabama to be his permanent residence. He was the son of G.H. Gandy, who had passed away, and Ruth B. Gandy, who had also passed away, and was born in Alabama on July 18, 1941. Both of his parents had passed away. His mother and father had both passed away before he was born.
He worked in a factory that specialized in the production of plastic goods, and there he held the post of Supervisor in the facility. Surviving are his Son, John Wesley (Sherry) Gandy, Jr., Grandson, Wes Gandy, Grandson, Corey (Kayla) Gandy, Great-Granddaughter, Presley Gandy, Great-Granddaughter, Dawsyn Gandy, Step-Granddaughther, Heather (Chris) George, Great-Grandson, Tripp George, Great-Granddaughter, Reese George, Step-Grandson, Miles (Kara) Snider, Sister, Nell Black, Sister, Faith (Billy Joe) Stagner, a host of neices and nephews, and other family members and friends.
His wife, Johnnie Faye Gandy, his son, Danny B. Gandy, his father, G.H. Gandy, and his mother, Ruth B. Gandy, as well as his brother, Wayne Gandy, and his sister, Docie Lee Dodd, all went away before he did. His brother, Wayne Gandy, and his sister, Docie Lee Dodd all before him. On the evening of Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from five o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening, the Martin Funeral Home Chapel will be open to guests so that they may pay their respects to the departed.
On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at two o’clock in the afternoon, the funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Martin Funeral Home. There has been no decision made regarding the timing or date of the services as of yet. After the burial service, the body will be laid to rest in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Maplesville, which is located in the state of Alabama. This will take place in the state of Alabama.
