Edward Strianese Obituary, Edward Strianese Has Died

Edward Strianese Obituary, Death Cause – Edward “Ned” J. Strianese, 66, was a cherished brother, uncle, coworker, and loyal friend. It is with a sad heart that we share the news of his demise. He lived in Burlington, Vermont. Ned died away in Costa Rica, where he had been spending his last days taking in the sights and sounds of his surroundings. Ned Strianese was the son of the late Edward and Corinne Strianese, and he was born in Armonk, New York. Ned received his diplomas from Byram Hills High School and St. Michael’s College. He then continued his study at the University of Vermont, where he received his master’s degree in special education.

Ned was a fantastic musician, fisherman, and friend, in addition to having a wonderful sense of humor. Both his immediate family and his extensive network of acquaintances were very important to him. Over the course of more than 25 years, Ned was a teacher at the Underhill and Burlington schools. His fervent support for those youngsters’ education and wellbeing, which continued into their adult years, is still remembered fondly by hundreds of those pupils. This was especially true for the pupils of Somali Bantu descent who had just very recently relocated to Vermont. Ned’s dedication to the cause did not originate from the most recent “central office” project, but rather from a genuine sense that it is everyone’s fundamental right to dream and to live a life that is both full and healthy.

He was a kind-hearted senior citizen who was always willing to impart his wisdom, experience, and compassion to those of a younger age. Many individuals from all walks of life found comfort in his presence because he had a heart that was always willing to help those who were in need.
It was common knowledge that Ned enjoyed listening to music. On porches, in living rooms, and elsewhere, he would spend countless hours serenading his neighbors, acquaintances, and family members with his music. During the latter years of his life, Ned took several trips around the United States and even to Costa Rica, where he fished and camped to his heart’s delight.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy “A Ray” Strianese, and her partner, Eddie Rios, of Cape Cod, Massachusetts; his brother, Thomas “TJ Ray” Strianese, and his wife, Liz Strianese, of Wappingers Falls, New York; and his two nieces, Hannah “Del Ray” Strianese of Denver, Colorado, and Edie Rae Strianese.
