Daryl May Obituary, Death Cause – Yesterday, the world lost a really incredible guy…. Daryl May My wife spent her childhood hanging out with you and your family while you lived in Bristle Ponds, and ever since we first met in Sleepy Hollow when I was 11 years old, we have been close friends. gonna miss those every now and then phone calls from you to check how we are doing and the hockey conversations about our sons both going to school in the USA…. we all go far back……. gonna miss those every now and then phone calls from you……. When your brother scored his first goal with the Leafs, the three of us were there to see it together at the game at Maple Leaf Gardens…. Dear friend, I pray that you rest in peace; you were an incredible guy.
Writing this one is going to be incredibly challenging. Your chuckle echoed across the whole space. Your grin made me smile. Your sense of humor was always spot on, never missing a beat. Your enthusiasm for life was so clear to see. Everyone who knew you could clearly tell how much you cared about Tammy May and how much you enjoyed your life on the lake in Campbellford. When the boys were younger, when they were in Tyke, we competed against each other as coaches. When Connor was playing in Aurora, we had the chance to work together as coaches, and I really enjoyed having you on the bench with Peter Dajia and myself.
One of my fondest experiences involving ice hockey is the trip that I made with my friends Connor May and Brady Sarazin to the Winter Classic, which was held at the Big House in Detroit. We had a wonderful time together. We kept in regular contact, and each time we did, you struck me as an energetic and optimistic person. You expressed a great deal of affection for Connor and Mac, as well as pride in everything that they had accomplished in their lives.
I always picked up the phone when you called because I knew that chatting to you would make me feel better. I am going to miss you, Big Man, and so will everyone else whose life was enriched by the fact that they had the opportunity to interact with you. Daryl May, I’ll catch up with you farther along the road! I hope you’re having a relaxing time fishing now. Rest in peace, dear buddy.
