Dale Grosvenor Obituary, Death Cause – Dale worked as a teacher and administrator in three of the elementary schools located in Susquehanna County until retiring in the year 1992 from his position as Elementary administrator in the Elk Lake School District. Dale served as a trustee, a deacon, a Sunday School teacher, and on the Missions Committee throughout his 53 years as a member of the Springville Baptist Church. He also taught Sunday school. Most recently, he was a member of the Missions Committee at the South New Milford Baptist Church, where he has been a member for some time.
On May 24, 2023, Dale Grosvenor, who was 87 years old and from Kingsley, Pennsylvania, died away. Grosvenor was the son of David Grosvenor, who passed away, and Helen (Clark) Grosvenor, who was born on November 23, 1935 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Dale honored his nation by serving in the Navy of the United States.
Some people referred to him as a decent guy, but Dale would want everyone to understand that any goodness in his life came from his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and he would want his Lord to have all of the acclaim for his life. The verse from Deuteronomy 13:4 is his gift to his family. “Ye shall walk after the LORD, your God, and fear him; you shall keep his commandments; and ye shall obey his voice; and ye shall serve him, and ye shall cleave unto him.”
Survivors include his wife of over 62 years, Carol (Moseman) Grosvenor; daughter, Laura (William) Squier of Montrose, PA; three sons, Mark (Tammy) Osborne of Vernon, VT, David (Barb) Grosvenor of Montrose, PA, and Paul (Susan) Grosvenor, Montrose, PA; 26 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren and two sisters; Merrilyn (Stewart) Crane of Westfield, NJ, and Marcia (Philip) Grant of Warrenton, VA. His sister Carol Wilson and his brother Bruce Grosvenor both passed away before he did.
