Brian Richter Obituary, Death Cause – As they go through this trying time, we want to let the family and friends of Retired Sgt. Brian Richter know that they are in our thoughts and prayers. A death that happened not so long ago involved Sgt. Richter. We are very sorry to hear of the death of your loved one, and our sympathies go out to you at this time. He began his employment with the Norfolk Police agency in August 1971, and he remained with the agency until July 2004, when he made the choice to retire after having worked there for a total of 33 years cumulatively.
His first day on the job was in August 1971. August of 1971 was the month when he started his new employment. He was loyal to his family, his friends, and the community that he had the pleasure of serving as a law enforcement officer for more than three decades. He had the privilege of protecting and serving the community for more than three decades. During that moment, he had the opportunity to serve and defend the community that he had devoted his life to safeguarding. He took full advantage of this opportunity.
Because of his unwavering commitment, he spent the better part of the final almost 33 years of his life watching out for and providing assistance to the people who lived in the area in which he resided. Sgt. Richter, you will be missed. I hope that you will find the type of peace that is only attainable by placing your confidence in God, and that he will give you the capacity to do so on your own if he doesn’t already.
