Benford Franklin Adcock Obituary, Death Cause – After passing away in the early hours of the morning yesterday, my grandfather, Benford Franklin Adcock, went to be with the Lord shortly after. When he passed away, he had reached the age of 88 years old. He and Gloria, who is also my mother, have been married for the past 65 years and have spent that entire time together as a married pair. Clay, myself, and even my own mother are going to miss our father a great deal after he passes away.
He is survived by his wife Gloria Screws Adcock; his daughter Angela Adcock (Jimmy) Hudson; his son Claiborne (“Clay”) Douglas Adcock (Paige); his grandchildren Jamie Wallace (Tim) Byrd, Kathryn (Rupa) Kern, Franklin (Meaghan) Hudson, Zachariah Hudson, Claiborne Adcock, Jr., and Parker (Whitney) Adcock; a nephew named Joseph Clark Adcock; and six great-grandchildren. The funeral service for the deceased person will be held at the Stricklin-King Funeral Home in Yazoo City on May 29, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., the day after they passed away.
Visitation will begin at twelve o’clock noon on the same day it was scheduled to begin. After the funeral service has come to a close, the deceased will be laid to rest at the Spanish Fort Cemetery. In lieu of floral tributes, the family asks that monetary contributions be made to the church, which held a significant place in his heart and was very important to him. Post Office Box 526 is the mailing address for Calvary Baptist Church, which can be found at Yazoo City, Mississippi 39194, in the United States.
