Hans Behrens Obituary, Hans Behrens Has Passed Away
Hans Behrens Obituary, Death Cause – We are sorry to inform you of the demise of Hans Behrens and are passing along this news to you at this time. We are proceeding with this endeavor while having a great burden on our hearts. The life of Hans was spent entirely in the capacity of a pupil. After teaching for a total of 42 years within the Tulare City School District at Maple School, he eventually retired from the teaching profession and went on to work for SCICON for a total of 23 years after leaving the teaching profession.
The month of May 1997 marked the beginning of Hans’ stint as a volunteer at SCICON, a post he will maintain until March 2020, when he will have attained the age of 90. Hans will continue to serve in this capacity until the month of March 2020. When he was in the fifth grade, he gave the subject of Natural Science his complete attention and focused on it diligently. Sharing his first-hand experiences, such as being a part of the first class of fifth students to visit SCICON, assisting with the construction of Tulare Cabin, and having a conversation with Irvy Elster, a hermit who resided at SCICON. Among other things, he was a part of the first class of fifth graders to visit SCICON.
When the students were in the sixth grade, Hans was able to get them amped up for the experience they would have at SCICON because he had the ability to make each and every one of them feel as though they were a part of something truly remarkable. I would want to take this opportunity to thank you, Hans, for everything you have done to assist the academic pursuits of the students at SCICON and around the Central Valley. Your support has been tremendously appreciated. It has been great having him here with us, and we are going to miss that.
