Gerald Lang Obituary, Resident Of Davenport Has Died

Gerald Lang Obituary, Death Cause – Gerald E. Lang, who was 69 years old and was a resident of Davenport, Iowa, passed away at his home on May 24, 2023. The day of his passing was Wednesday. On August 24, 1953, in the city of Davenport, Joseph and Louise (Munkirs) Lang became parents for the first time to their son Gerald. The year 1971 was the one in which he graduated from Davenport West High School with his diploma.

Iron Workers Local 111 hired Gerald as an iron worker, and he also served on the Executive Board of the union. Gerald was a member of Iron Workers Local 111. Following his father’s departure, he and his brother took over the management of the family business, which consisted of running Joe Lang’s Tap. a business that had been in the family for well over half a century and was still being operated. Bowling, playing baseball and softball, and playing the guitar were some of Gerald’s go-to pastimes when he was younger. He also enjoyed doing all of these things. Outdoor pursuits like fishing and hunting were some of his favorite things to do in nature.

He was very helpful to his family, other relatives, and even strangers who required assistance with things they needed to perform in and around their houses. Among his surviving family members are his son, Gerald Shawn Lang, who is married to Ashley; his granddaughter, Brittany Lang, who is married to Brandon Blakey; his great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Izabelle, and Jayla; his brother, Joe Lang, who is married to Diane Dautremont; his sister-in-law, Debbi Lang; and a large number of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a large number of nieces and nephews.
