David Taleff Obituary, Death Cause – David C. Taleff, 66 years old, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at the Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital in Avon. He was a resident of North Ridgeville. His birthday is March 18th, 1957, and he attended North Olmsted High School till he graduated in 1975. He was born in Cleveland. Additionally, David received his education at the University of Akron. He had spent the last 26 years calling North Ridgeville home. Dave was a prosperous businessman who launched his own retail apparel business under the name Britchs when he was 23 years old.
Britchs now has three stores in the areas of North Ridgeville, Elyria, and Vermilion. Later in life, he changed careers and began supplying first responders all over the world with equipment and uniforms. This was the beginning of a very satisfying and lifetime sales career. He was quite involved with the St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Church in Avon, where he served in a number of different capacities over the course of his membership there. In addition to that, he was a member of Rotary International and had previously served as President of the Rotary Club in Oberlin. Dave was an avid soccer player for a good portion of his life.
In addition to that, he liked to barbecue meat, brew his own wine, spend time in the fresh air, tend to his garden, and have coffee in the afternoon. He was devoted to his family, and the happiness of his wife and daughters was his first priority. David C. Taleff is survived by many people, including his devoted wife of 36 years, Vesna (nee Georgievski), his two daughters, Tatjana Taleff (Matthew Padgett) and Natasha Taleff, his sister Nadine Tasevski (George), his brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Nikolina Sevis, and a large number of other cherished extended family members and friends. His parents, Chris and Magdalene (née Steve) Taleff, passed away before he did.
He was their only child. On Tuesday, May 30, 2023, the family will be present at the Liston Funeral Home, located at 36403 Center Ridge Rd. (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville, to greet friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. At 7:30 pm, there will be a prayer ceremony performed at the funeral home. St. Clement Macedonian Orthodox Church, located at 38665 French Creek Rd. in Avon, will be the location of the Funeral Service on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 10:30am. The ceremony will be presided over by Father Zoran Zdravev. St. Theodosius Orthodox Cemetery in Brooklyn will be the location of the burial services.
