Prior to Leon’s passing, the man who had previously filled the role of his father had already passed away. Leon was the only person who had ever called Leon his father. He is survived by : his wife Cecile Belanger; his children, Daniel Belanger (Julie), Richard Belanger and Tammy Belanger (Mike); his grandchildren, Jason Belanger (Chantal), Steven Belanger (Chelsea), Jenna Huot, Brianne Huot and Kelsey Belanger; his great grandchild Teagan Belanger; and his sisters, Norma MacDonald (late Ronald) and Gisele Taylor (Clifford).
