Bella Gulley Obituary, Death Cause – Feola “Dimp” Gulley, 79 years old, a resident of Rockford, departed this life on earth on Monday, January 13, 2014, at Rosewood Nursing Home, where she was a patient. Rosston, Arkansas was the location of her birth on June 12, 1934. Her parents, Willie and Mae Lillie Belle Gulley, were her parents, and she was their daughter. After making the move from Rosston in 1954, Feola has called Rockford her permanent home ever since making the move.
She was a lifelong member of the Westside Church of Christ and attended services there regularly. Feola received her education from the public schools in the city of Rosston.
Feola is survived by her children, daughters Janice (Fred) Gulley, Patty “Carol Sue” Gulley, Terry Porter, Sherell Coleman, Penny Sims, and Twanett (Ivory) Gulley; her son, Eric Gulley; 22 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; her sister Stella Mae (Johnny)
Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will cherish the many joyful and loving memories. Her parents and three of her sisters, Leola Tidwell, Viola Gulley, and Reola Marshall, had already passed away before she was born. Her grandparents had also passed away before she was born. Eddie Hue, Hollis Gulley, Troy Gulley, Aaron Gulley, and Otisboy Gulley were her five brothers.
Carrie “Odessa” Hill, her best friend, and the nurses at Passage Hospice, Claudine and Kelda, as well as the staff at Rosewood Nursing Home, deserve a particularly heartfelt thank you.
