William R. Bowling Obituary, William R. Bowling Has Passed Away

William R. Bowling Obituary, Death Cause – On Tuesday, May 23, 2023, William R. Bowling II, who was 44 years old and lived in Camden, passed away. William was born on June 19, 1978 in Hamilton, Ohio to parents William R. Bowling and Carla (Tuttle) McCune. His grandfather was William R. Bowling. After receiving his diploma from Hamilton High School in 1996, he immediately enlisted in the Marine Corps of the United States of America.

After that, William went into law enforcement and spent the next 22 years working for the Butler County Sheriff’s Department. During the course of his career, he held the position of Road Patrol Deputy and was awarded twice for his lifesaving efforts. William had many interests, like being outside, going hunting and fishing, and spending time with his family and friends, including his wife and two children.

William is survived by his wife of 24 years, Erin McDaniel; daughter, McKenzie Bowling; son, William Bowling III; father, Ray (Diane) Bowling; brothers, Kelly Bowling and Nicholas (Azia) McCune; sisters-in-law, Angie Ingram and Michele (Craig) Dixon; brother-in-law, Wade (Amy) Dingman; his loyal German Shepherd, Nico; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. William’s mother, Carla McCune, as well as his mother and father-in-law, Donna and John McDaniel, passed away before him.

On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, visitation will take place at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and funeral services will commence at 1:00 PM. The funeral home is located at 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. After the service, burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery. Donations can be made in his memory to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The family would like to take this opportunity to express their gratitude to the medical staff at UC for providing exceptional treatment and showing such compassion.
