Victoria Baertsoen Obituary, Death Cause – On Friday and Saturday, funeral services will be conducted for three young people who were killed in an accident during the holiday weekend that has left their community in Southwestern Ontario in ruins. On Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., family and friends of Shae-Lynn are cordially invited to attend a viewing at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, which is located at 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg.
On Friday, a private ceremony will be held at Riverview Cemetery to lay Shae-Lynn to rest. Her burial will take place there. According to what is said in her obituary, “Sugar Shae” was a “shining star” who would be fondly remembered by both her family and her friends. On Saturday, May 27, at 11 a.m., the Funeral Mass of the Resurrection for Victoria will be held in the church that bears Our Lady’s Name, Help of Christians. After the funeral service, Victoria’s body will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery, and a reception will be held in the UAW Hall in Wallaceburg to honor her life and upcoming graduation.

Friends and family of Matt are welcome to attend.
On Friday, May 26, 2023 at three o’clock in the afternoon, the funeral ceremony for Matt will be conducted in the Reception Centre. According to his obituary, “Matt was an avid sports enthusiast who enjoyed playing for the Red Devil Lacrosse Team in particular as well as other sports such as hockey and golf.”
