Tony McMillan Obituary, Death Cause – Tony Trent McMillan, also known as “Squawk,” reached the age of 62 on May 24, 2023, the day he received his wings. In Pascagoula, Mississippi, on February 17, 1961, Squawk McMillan was born to his late parents, James William and Barbara Ely McMillan. He will be remembered with affection by his family and friends as an outstanding husband, father, and Pop Pop.
Along with his own parents, he was preceded in death by both his father-in-law, Paul Hamilton, and his brother-in-law, Gary Nelson. His grandparents also passed away before him. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his devoted wife of 36 years, Kim McMillan; son, Alex (Chloé) McMillan; daughter, Madison (Mark) Britt; grandchildren, Cohen Trent McMillan, Asher James McMillan, and Trace Wayne Britt;
mother-in-law, Becky Hamilton; father-in-law, Jerry Grantham; brother-in-law, Mark (Valerie) Grantham; siblings, Gene (Kathy) The Heritage Funeral Home in Moss Point, Mississippi will be the location of the visitation for Squawk on Friday, May 26, 2023, beginning at noon and continuing until 2:00 p.m. The wake will be followed by the funeral service, which will take place in the chapel of the funeral home commencing at 2:00 p.m.
and will be officiated by Bruce A. Lynd, Jr. and Rev. James V. Miller. The burial will take place at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, and the pallbearers will be Alex McMillan, Mark Britt, Colt McCarra, Joel McCarra, Bruce Cook, and Joey McQueen. Mark Grantham and Justin Hancock will serve as honorary bearers of the casket.
