Salvatore DiCarlo Obituary, Death Cause – Unexpectedly, Salvatore (Sal) DiCarlo, who was our grandfather’s brother, passed suddenly early on Wednesday morning. Salvatore was a local of Virden, Illinois, and had called that community home for a significant amount of time. You were able to observe our ailing grandfather while he was visiting us here in this very house while he was recovering from his illness.
When we were at the end of our rope and wanted nothing more than to run away and hide from the rest of the world, he helped us manage the business so that we wouldn’t have to so that we wouldn’t have to worry about it. He was the kind of man who was always ready and willing to stand up to the plate, and that was exactly the kind of man that he was. He was a man who was always prepared and wanting to go up to the plate. He leaves behind in Virden a family as well as a town that will never be the same again after this tragedy.
In this difficult time, we ask that you pray for his wife, his children and grandchildren, and the rest of his family. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Please remember them in your prayers and keep them in your thoughts. This week, on Thursday the 25th and Friday the 26th, we shall be open as normal. On Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th, however, we will be closed in observance of the burial rites. We would like to convey our gratitude for your sympathy and understanding during this difficult time as we mourn the passing of Zio Salvatore, who was without a doubt one of the greatest of all time.
