Robert Caldwell Obituary, 78-Years-Old Of Pleasantville Passed Away

Robert Caldwell Obituary, Death Cause – On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, Robert G. Caldwell, Sr., who had reached the age of 78, passed away in the Titusville Area Hospital. He called the town of Pleasantville his home.
On April 16, 1945, Robert was brought into this world in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania. Before Robert Caldwell was born, both of his parents, John and Ruth (Schreckengost) Caldwell, had passed away. He married Gwendolyn Anderson on April 9, 1964.
He served in the Navy of the United States of America.
Robert’s career spanned several years, although the most of that time was spent as a self-employed truck driver.
At one point in time, he was listed as a member of the Pleasantville Lions Club as well as the Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department’s roster.
Robert’s hobbies include restoring vintage autos and trucks as well as working with wood.
He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn of Pleasantville; his children, Robert G. Caldwell, Jr and wife Lois Roggenkamp of Titusville, Terry Caldwell and wife Kathy of Centerville, Katie Hollabaugh and husband Chad of Pleasantville; 10 grandchildren, Nicholas, Sheila, Ashley, Benjamin, Leah, Melissa, Steven, Zachary, Oaklynn, Emersyn; and 16 great grandchildren.
Robert Caldwell was the last surviving member of his family; his brothers Bill, Jim, and Dick all died before him. Robert was the only member of his family to have made it through life.
At this time, there are no plans to hold any memorial services or other events.
