Lathan Turner Missing, Police Searching For Lathan Turner

Lathan Turner Missing – The Dougherty County Police Department is reaching out to the community in an effort to locate a missing autistic man. The department is requesting the support of the community in its search for the man. Since Thursday morning at 6:30 a.m., when he was last seen or heard from at his house on Old Dominion Road, 19-year-old Lathan Turner has not been seen or heard from there. It is thought that he has departed the residence in a direction that is now unclear.

Right now he is wearing khaki pants and a white button-up shirt that he is bringing with him. He also has a brown belt and brown shoes on. The death of a man who was forty years old is being investigated as a possible homicide by deputies from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, who are looking into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death. At 3:29 in the morning on Thursday, deputies from the Palmetto Police Department rushed to the site of 2300 First Avenue E to investigate the situation after receiving a call to 911 reporting shooting in the area.

The word that rounds had been fired in the vicinity was received after 911 operators received a call reporting gunfire in the area. It is said that the responding officers discovered Lathan Turner unresponsive inside of a vehicle when they arrived on the scene. The information was provided by the deputies who responded to the call for assistance. The people who attended to the call from the emergency services and decided that Turner had passed away at 3:38 in the morning determined that Turner had been a patient for a long time.
