Larry Westlund Obituary, Death Cause – In memory of Larry Westlund, an employee who had worked for our company for many years and who passed away not too long ago, the flags at the Civic Centre have been lowered. Larry Westlund passed away not too long ago. Larry was one of our employees who had been there the longest. He had been working for the Town ever since he began his employment there in 1989.

People will never forget him because of his eccentric demeanor and his remarkable ability to make other people laugh. This will be his lasting legacy. This is the reason why people will remember him in the future. During this extremely trying time, everyone at the Town wants his wife and family to know that our thoughts and prayers are with them and that we are expressing our deepest condolences to them. We want them to know that we are thinking of them and praying for them. We want them to be aware that we are thinking about and praying for them because we want them to know that our thoughts and prayers are with them.

In point of fact, he held the record for the longest tenure at that particular position. He has been employed by the Town for a total of 34 years and has worked in a number of various roles throughout the course of that span of time, the most recent of which was as a Utility Operator III at our Water Treatment Plant. In addition, he has held a variety of different positions during that time. Because of the dedication that he showed to his job, Larry’s coworkers and all of us here at the Town will miss him very much after he has passed away because of the amount of hard work that he put in.
