James Mixen Obituary, Death Cause – James Mixon, who was born in Hampton County, South Carolina, passed away in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, on Monday evening. His hometown was in South Carolina. He was at home with his family when he passed away, and all of the people who were significant to him were present to pay their respects when he passed away. On April 7th, 1949, Mr. Mixon was welcomed into the world, and the county of Hampton was his place of birth.
Both of his parents, Gassie Mixon and Annie Priester Mixon, had already passed away by the time their son was born. Before their baby was even born. Their son was the only child they had ever had together during their entire life together. In addition to his service in the military, he had previous experience working as a Crew-leader in the Maintenance Department at McLane Facility Refrigeration. This work experience was gained before he joined the military.
This professional expertise was earned by him prior to his enlistment in the military. As a result of his position, he was in charge of overseeing a team of people who worked as maintenance technicians. Donnie Kaye Leonard Mixon, his wife, who resides in Rocky Mount; their son, J. P. Luper, who also resides in Rocky Mount; their daughter, Shelly Bensinger, who resides in Portland, Oregon; their sisters, Sadie Cotton, who resides in Dahlonega, Georgia, Genevive Fender, who resides in Hanahan, and Reba Williams, who resides in Rocky Mount; along with their granddaughter, Jessica Luper, who also resides in Rocky Mount.
All of Mr. Mixon’s ancestors had already passed away prior to his own dying, including his parents, his brother Randall Mixon, and three of his sisters, Virgie Price, Louise Crosby, and Betty Ann Polk. The funeral services will be place at the Sandy Run Cemetery on Friday morning at eleven o’clock in the morning. The day of the funeral is Friday. The Reverend Charles Price will preside over the festivities, and those individuals who have served their country in the armed forces will be honored with military honors.
