Eleanor Burnett Obituary, Eleanor Burnett Has Passed Away

Eleanor Burnett Obituary, Death Cause – Eleanor Jean (Moore) Burnett, age 91, transitioned from this life to her eternal home with Jesus in a gentle manner after leaving this earthly life. On the evening of May 21, 2023, at 11:35 p.m., she died away while at home surrounded by the people she loved. Earnest and Lola Moore were her parents, and she was born on December 16th, 1931 in Middletown, Missouri. Eleanor received her high school diploma from Farber.

Her daughters claimed that she was such a talented chef that she could even make a shoe taste wonderful in the food that she prepared. Eleanor was renowned for her ability to bake the most delicious chocolate pie in the history of the globe. Additionally, she was a fantastic seamstress. Not only did Eleanor sew for her own children, but she also sewed for organizations such as Birthright and Journey to Bethlehem, as well as for an orphanage in India. She had a lot of experience as an artist and could create some lovely sketches.

Eleanor was a member of the organization Share Art from the Heart, through which she created lovely drawings for greeting cards and distributed them throughout the country to people who were ill or had recently lost loved ones. She was a wonderful prayer warrior, which was one of the things that her family and everyone who knew her considered to be one of the most essential aspects of her. She would begin each day by gathering her thoughts, paging through her prayer journal, and praying sincerely for all of their physical and spiritual need.

Eleanor is survived by her daughter Bonnie Alexander (and her husband Joe), of Center; her son Bob Burnett (and his wife Crystal), of New London; her daughter Benita Hardy (and her husband Steve); her son Bruce Burnett (and his wife Deanna), of Middletown; her son in law David Horstmeyer, of Saverton; and her sister Loretta Goodin, of Cape Girardeau. In addition, she leaves behind 72 grandkids, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was the matriarch of a large family. In addition, Eleanor was the aunt to a large number of nieces and nephews descended from the Moore and Burnett families.
