Charly Goss Obituary, Death Cause – Charles Luther Goss, age 49, lost his valiant battle against cancer on June 23, 2012, and passed away in Conroe, Texas. He had been battling the disease for a long time. Before Charlie’s departure, both Charlie’s grandson, Conner Luke Goss, and Charlie’s father, Naaman Goss, passed away. Charlie’s grandson was named after Charlie’s father. He is survived by his devoted mother, Etta Goss; his children, Johnny Goss and Christina Goss; his step-daughter, Stefanie Vickery; his grandson, Cameron Goss; his auntie, Lucille Whitten; his uncle, Billy Landrum and his wife Shelley; a multitude of other relatives; and a plethora of friends who cared deeply about him.
He passed away on April 15, 2019. The first of February 2019 was the day he went away. Because of the compassion and care that they shown toward Charlie and our family while he was staying at Vitas Hospice, Charlie’s family would like to convey their gratitude to all of the doctors and nurses who work there. We would want to thank you for everything that you have done for Charlie and our family while he was there.
In addition, we would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to Helen Smith from Humble Flower Shop for the lovely floral tributes that she designed for our family as well as the kind and thoughtful manner in which she dealt with us during this difficult time. During Charlie’s funeral, Dr. Tom Fritts offered our family some deep words of consolation. We would want to take this opportunity to thank him for those words and to convey our gratitude.
